New actuator series for haptic feedback
Grewus
Grewus has developed a new actuator series for haptic feedback: HapForce. Available in three sizes, they can cover all kinds of applications.
The smallest actuator is the HapForce 1. It has small dimensions (12.5 x 12.5 x 20mm) and a low resonance frequency of 65Hz. It is a good choice for steering wheels or smaller modules with little available installation space.
The HapForce 2 was designed for gaming applications but its high-quality feedback can also be used in the automotive industry. The strongest feedback generated is 50Hz but the usable frequency range is much broader. With dimensions of 16.6 x 16.6 x 27mm, it is a good fit for displays or any smart surface.
For even heavier applications, the HapForceUlti comes into play. Grewus’s strongest actuator, with the lowest resonance frequency of 45Hz and dimensions of 20.4 x 31.4 x 46mm, can even vibrate a car seat.
