Better quilting and embroidering

ZSK Stickmaschinen will be launching the ZSK Vision System for embroidering and quilting of perforated leather at Automotive Interiors Expo 2018. Embroidering and quilting leather for ventilated seats can deform the leather and reduce the effectiveness of the holes that are necessary for letting air through. However, the ZSK Vision System promises to be the answer to this problem by automating the process.
The system combines camera hardware installed on an embroidery machine such as the ZSK Racer 1XL with the company’s ZEPL software suite. During the embroidery process, the machine continuously tracks the location of the perforations and adjusts the start and finish points of the next design part to achieve perfect placement of the stitches and counteract the shrinkage of the material. ZSK’s embroidery machines are capable of performing quilting and embroidery in one step and on one head with up to 24 colours.
