Modern equipment produces plastic parts more quickly and precisely than ever before

Every kind of plastic film can now be formed with high accuracy and repeatability thanks to Niebling’s fully automated SAMK 400 and SAMK 650 high-pressure forming machines – to be admired at Automotive Interiors Expo 2018. Parts up to 1,400mm can be formed with less distortion than with traditional thermoforming or vacuum forming, and parts can be prepared for subsequent FIM (film insert moulding) or IML (in-mould labelling) processes. Since the operator is now out of the equation, cycle times are sped up with no interruptions, resulting in reduced costs and production times.
