The Canadian manufacturer of NVD (Nickel Vapour Deposition) nickel shell tooling is presenting its recently launched German division. Weber Technologies GmbH is able to serve the European automotive interior tooling market with high-quality tooling for manufacturing processes that create soft-touch, textured interior skin surfaces.
At the show, Weber will be exhibiting examples of NVD-process nickel shell tooling used for creating cast skin slush parts and for IMG vacuum-formed part processes. This type of tooling tends to produce higher quality parts than traditional electroformed parts and they are also quicker to produce.
Weber will also show examples of its master model wrapping and epoxy mother model casting capabilities, which it can now offer directly in Germany.
