Smart demonstrator reveals active surfaces and dynamic lighting

Walter Pack is specialized in the design and production of high-quality decorative functional surfaces and plastic parts using in-mold forming (IMF) technology mainly for the automotive industry.
At Automotive Interiors Expo, the company will show some of its latest innovations. The Smart Cockpit demonstrator reveals state-of-the-art technology related to lighting and HMI, active surfaces and electronics. Most solutions integrated are ready to market. Dynamic lighting to create different driving scenarios, backlit surfaces in unique materials, display deco module, sewn light guides, smart decor, natural active surfaces, light projections and a driver monitoring system (DMS) are seamlessly integrated into this unique demonstrator.
Also on show will be new plastronics parts with special functional devices, and a door trim module with special multiple backlit solutions and safety functions. The company will also be exhibiting the new materials and deco trends developed by its color and trim department.
