PVD coating
Inotech

Inotech has added another modern coating technology to its coating center. PVD coating (physical vapor deposition) is a procedure that can be applied to treat the surfaces of various products. The primary purpose is to increase the product’s durability and lifecycle.

PVD coatings lead to significant improvements in the properties of the treated product, such as low friction, high hardness, and resistance to abrasion, high temperatures, corrosion and acid.

Very low friction (0.01-0.6 ) reduces friction losses and minimizes component wear. The technology enables excellent adhesion of these coatings to various materials including metals, glass and plastics.

Due to the coating thinness (1-10 micrometers), the impact on part dimensions, tolerances and tools is minimal.

Low coating temperatures (150-450°C) enable a firm connection of inhomogeneous materials. They do not change part geometry due to extensibility and maintain material strength.
