The Architexture teams have been using the graceful shape of this underwater creature as inspiration to explore alternatives to leather-look grains, aiming to satisfy a more environmentally focused public. As a result, beautiful new designs have been developed that work just as hard as traditional leather grains to hide molding flaws. With Model-Tech Smart Skin technology, those grains can become nickel shells and then final parts much faster than ever before.
