Wood can give an interior a swish and stylish twist as well as a touch of class, but it can be difficult to work with. Drop by Intops’ booth to see its solution, which involves applying natural wood onto a plastic base, thus combining the style of wood with the ease of use of plastic. Different coatings can be applied to bring out the natural texture of the wood or to apply a deep high-gloss finish. This technique also allows the integration of touch sensors, which can be combined with backlit microscopic holes to create ‘buttons’.
