Innovation – and ready to deliver!

Statement from the Expo founder, July 12, 2020

As we watch the thankful return to life as normal across Europe as the terrible Covid-19 catastrophe passes by, we are pleased to be able to confirm that our plans are firmly in place to stage Automotive Interiors Expo in Stuttgart this November. This news has received rapturous applause from our exhibitors.

If there is a new normal, it is likely to include recognition that shows such as this one enable an industry to come together with a major segment of its supply chain and its partners in innovation, in one place, under one roof, over three highly productive days – and that is hugely beneficial. With a choice between taking flights all over the world versus a one-stop shop where the major suppliers are gathered together for you, it’s easy to see why so many people have said the future of specialist shows, like this one, is assured.

As organizers, we already have experience of running a show in a Covid-19 world and, although we very much hope that by November most of the sensitivities will have abated, the following measures will be in place to assure you of a safe and wellness-focused event:

Airport industry temperature monitoring of all attendees before they reach the main entrance; electronic non-contact hand sanitizers; and a new, entirely wifi-based, on-site registration and badging arrangement – that means everything you do at the entrance is on your own smartphone or similar personal device.

In addition, Germany has been a front-runner in Europe during this health crisis, managing its own processes exceedingly well, and Messe Stuttgart has confirmed it will be open for business and is very much looking forward to hosting us. Full updates on all measures will of course be on our website and news bulletins.

Discover new interior materials, technologies, concepts, comforts, innovations and suppliers

Automotive Interiors Expo Europe exhibitors represent the A-Z of car interiors, with our exhibitors’ products being found in vehicles from just about every car manufacturer you can name, from Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren and Porsche through to GM, Volkswagen, Jaguar, BMW, Kia Toyota and Chery to name just a few!

The show is about quality, color, texture, touch, feel and innovation. Specialty finishes are a strong theme of the expo, with some companies offering plastic compounding and master batching, metalized plastics and chrome-look plastics, and others presenting hot foil stamping and film insert molding.

You’ll find a wide range of fabrics, acoustical materials, shape-forming materials and foams, fasteners and adhesive systems, lighting and more! The show is a must-visit for Tier 1 suppliers as well as for interior design teams from car manufacturers wanting to keep up with the rapidly changing world of materials, finishes and technologies that contribute to ‘touch and feel’.

The show is of equal significance to design teams and procurement people, and is full of things to see whether you are working as an interior designer or, just as importantly, as a Tier 1 or 2 component manufacturer. This is a solutions show with a tremendous number of innovative products to see!
