Photo-etching for bespoke interiors

Already providing solutions to OEMs and Tier 1s across Europe, Ash & Lacy Automotive has recently invested in new technologies – specifically a new photo-etching line – that will increase its capacity to create bespoke interior components designed to enhance the aesthetics of any vehicle’s interior.
“The move to EV powertrains marks an unprecedented turning point in the automotive architecture. Therefore, investment in new technologies is required to support emerging design trends”, says Emily Evans, product manager (vehicle and audio) at Ash & Lacy Automotive.
“We’ll be showcasing our technical, manufacturing and prototyping capabilities that include 3D printing, soft tooling, and blank development with total control to shorten lead times.”
IATF-accredited Ash & Lacy Automotive will take initial inquiries right through to total in-house production, where all members of the team have responsibility for reducing embodied carbon while supporting wider sustainability goals. Total control over all processes also enables the company to deliver quality service alongside quality components.
