Jumbo-Textil
Jumbo-Textil’s new hole cords are lightweight and quiet, reliable and stable – and completely without metal or plastics. The openings are directly interlaced during the braiding process. The uninterrupted course of the fibers ensures exceptionally high stability and light weight of the components. There is no need for fastening elements: no pressed-in eyelets, no pressed loops, no seams, no knots. The architecture of the cords, their junctions and openings, are individually defined for the respective project and interlaced by computer, ensuring they are secure, stable and exactly the size and spacing needed.
Whether as a cover fastening or as a tensioning element for seating systems, as a spring replacement or for power transmission, as utensil net closure or anything else, the hole cord is ideally suited to numerous applications to reduce weight and noise in the interior.
The advantages of the hole cord compared with assembled loops include higher stability thanks to continuous fiber course; higher tensile strength and tear resistance; no need for manual assembly processes and additional fastening elements; and computer-controlled and individually configurable opening size, number and repeats.
