Sefar is introducing heating elements that can be integrated into just about any interior part, enabling new applications that weren’t previously possible. PowerHeat NT has an open mesh design of exceptionally fine heating fabric structures to allow it to be air-permeable and translucent, as well as easily 3D-malleable.
Production and installation times can be shortened by directly injecting the heating material or integrating it into the foam. As the heating material is so finely structured, 3D shapes are easily achievable, while heat distribution can be very uniform with a short heating-up time. The matrix layout ensures that no hot spots develop when there is a defect, and that the breakdown of the heating element is limited to the defective spot.
The company can supply a complete heating system with the correct electrical connectors and temperature sensors, tested and produced in compliance with IATF 16949.
