Avocet offers textile fire safety chemicals for loose stock, yarns, fabrics and nonwovens suitable for insulation/absorbers, seating fabrics, headliners and more. Many products are halogen free, can be combined with other finishes and are effective at a low addition level. They can be applied by spray, impregnation, coating and even dyebath exhaustion. For example, Cetaflam PD3MW is a halogen-free, Oeko-Tex-approved flame retardant for spray application to mixed recycled fibers for thermobonded nonwovens.
