Chemical etching and laser cutting

At Automotive Interiors Expo, Lasertech will introduce its loudspeaker grid blanks made in stainless steel by chemical etching. By this method, customized grids can be produced in a few days either in prototyping or mass production. Thanks to a state-of-the-art LDI system, the whole production can be completed digitally.
The surface can be bright as a mirror or brushed; it can be micro-etched for fine pattern decoration. The material used is specifically designed for deep-draw forming and PVD coating, or painting. You can choose AISI 304 or AISI 316 metals for demanding applications.
With the same technology, footstep door plates or other metal plate decoration can be easily made. Aluminum alloy or copper alloy parts can also be manufactured.
