The finish of interior trim and decorative parts is one of the most critical aspects for modern car buyers. Creating and protecting that finish over the complete production process is therefore vital. Here the painting tray comes into play, allowing producers to secure parts on it directly at the injection molding machine and safely transport them to the painting line. There, the tray perfectly supports the painting process by firmly holding the part, presenting the surfaces at the desired angles, covering areas not allowed to have overspray and including exhaust openings. The finished parts still on the tray can then be safely transported to the automotive manufacturer for final assembly. From the injection molding to final assembly, the parts are perfectly secured and need to be touched only twice.
